International Academy of Medical Reflexology Student Handbook
Reflexology Medical - 267-424-4549 - International Academy of Medical Reflexology

The program is meant to introduce the students to the field of Medical Reflexology and, through classroom lectures, clinical experience and a series of homework case studies, all study patients seen for no less than ten times each, bringing a student to at least career entry-level proficiency in the field. Classroom work occurs in two separate cycles of 50 hours (one week), every 3 months, which begin approximately every 90 days. These cycles attempt to reinforce that which was learned in previous cycles through repetition as well as furthering the students' knowledge through the teaching of further information. The first course has no prerequisites. However, each class then serves as the prerequisite for the subsequent classes.

Each enrolling student will be required to complete an enrollment agreement, which must be signed by both the student and an authorized individual for the school. The enrollment agreement will clearly define the program requirements, the tuition and fees, the refund policy, the behavior policies and various other pertinent information. No student will be allowed to begin instruction prior to the receipt by school officials of a completed enrollment agreement and the tuition for the first class.

Any controversy or claim arising out of or relating to this agreement, or breach thereof, no matter how pleaded or styled, shall be settled by arbitration in accordance with the Commercial Rules of the American Arbitration Association, and judgment upon the award rendered by the Arbitrator may be entered in any court having jurisdiction. All included are the International Academy of Medical Reflexology, The Medical Reflexology Complementary Health Center, all physical facility hosting sites, all their successors and/or assigns as their interest may appear, and includes to the extent of all present and all future knowledge, this is forever irrevocable.

The course of study consists of two full classes with start dates approximately 90 days apart. Each student will be required to pay a $100.00 registration fee upon signing the enrollment agreement. Tuition for each class is due no later than the first day of instruction for each class. Tuition for the first class is $1,250.00 and tuition for the second (approximately three months later) $1,250.00, to complete the total tuition charge of $2,500.00 for each on-site-only full Program. In addition each student will be required to purchase a videotape and chart with a total combined cost of $39.90 plus 6% Pennsylvania sales tax (TOTAL COST = $2,639.90). Any of the three areas to be graded (written exam, ten case histories or practical on-hands session) will require a fee for retesting if necessary. This fee will be $100.00 per area retested. The school's refund policy regarding all tuition and fees is separately stated in this handbook.

Because of the nature of this program, we encourage you to put a priority on being in class on time for every session. The instruction is very concentrated and intense. An attendance percentage of 95% or better will be required in each and every course for it's successful completion. If you have an attendance or tardiness problem please discuss it with the director in as timely a manner as is possible.
