REFUND POLICY

The academy realizes that conditions do arise that cause changes in plans and attitudes of prospective enrollees. Under such circumstances provisions for cancellation should be made. Therefore, please consider the following methods of cancellation and school's refund policy:

A. The formula for computing tuition refunds shall be based on the total clock hours of the program using the following percentages:

1. For a student completing up to and including 10% of the total clock hours, the academy shall refund 90% of the total cost of the program.
2. For a student withdrawing from or discontinuing the program within the first 25% of the program, the tuition charges refunded by the academy shall be 55% of the total cost of the program.
3. For a student withdrawing or discontinuing after 25% but within 50% of the program, the tuition charges refunded by the academy shall be 30% of the total cost of the program.
4. For a student withdrawing or discontinuing after 50% of the program, the student is entitled to no refund.

B. The application or registration fee is fully refundable if the student requests cancellation within 5 calendar days after signing the enrollment agreement. A request for cancellation which is not made in writing shall be confirmed in writing by the student within an additional period of 5 calendar days. The academy may retain all of the fee after 5 calendar days or after 10 calendar days absent written confirmation, where required

C. An applicant rejected AND/OR terminated by the academy is entitled to a refund of moneys paid. A student is entitled to the above refund criteria if suspended or dismissed upon the director's judgment call and/or investigation of any inappropriate behaviour arbitrary to the policy's of either the International Academy of Medical Reflexology or the Medical Reflexology Complementary Health Center. Willful misconduct, inappropriate behaviour, ie, cheating, charging a fee or accepting a tip from a patient case study, stealing, plagiarism, loud, disruptive, defiance, incomplete clock or homework hours, especially not obeying ALL local, state, and federal laws, etc., will be considered a breach of contract.

BOOKS AND SUPPLIES

There is no text book for this series of classes. Each student will be required to purchase a video DVD and chart from the academy. The student is also responsible to supply any materials necessary to take adequate notes, fine line washable non-toxic markers, paper towels, 3 pillows, a spray bottle of water, and clear - 100% aloe vera gel. All students must wear vinyl gloves at all times while performing Medical Reflexology (hands on). These gloves will be supplied at no cost by the academy. Anyone with an allergy to latex and/or vinyl should contact the director. In addition, each student "MAY" bring a very responsible partner(a non-student) as a coach for the first day of each class, however, a coach is not mandatory, students can learn by using another class student.
